From European Roots to California Smiles: Dr. Chigir’s Journey in Dentistry
Dr. Yulia Chigir’s journey to dentistry didn’t begin in a classroom, but in the heart of Eastern Europe. As a high school student, she spent countless hours observing her family dentist and friend at work. Witnessing his dedication and the impact he had on patients sparked a passion for the field that would define her career.
Years of dedicated study culminated in Dr. Chigir’s graduation from Belarus’ most prestigious dental university, Belarusian State Medical University, in 2008. She then established a successful dental practice in Europe, honing her skills and expertise. However, her pursuit of excellence didn’t stop there. Driven by a desire to offer the highest level of care, she embarked on a new chapter in the United States.
In 2017, Dr. Chigir earned her accreditation in the U.S. after attending Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California. While working in private practice, she continued to expand her knowledge, seeking out advanced training in various areas like implantology, endodontics, and Invisalign certification.
Building on her international experience and unwavering passion for patient care, Dr. Chigir and her husband decided to take the leap and open their own dental office in 2021. Today, she is thrilled to share her expertise and dedication with the local community, striving to provide the absolute best dental care experience possible.
